Equestria is beset by monsters. Terrible threats to ponies lurk in every corner of the nation, and it's up to the Crown to lock them away. Princess Celestia can't respond to every incident, and so she created a special task force - SMILE.

SMILE (Secret Monster Intelligence League of Equestria) exists as an open secret within the highest reaches of power. Currently led by the recently appointed Lieutenant Shining Armor, they find themselves embroiled in a sweet and sour conspiracy that threatens the entire country!

Or at least it's going to ruin a lot of birthday parties.

It's an interesting situation - it's not every day that you get to see the outcome of the road not taken, what might have been. As the married Applejack and Rainbow Dash talk to the dating Applejack and Rarity, they get a bit competitive over who made the better choice.

The other Rainbow Dash and Rarity think it was obviously them.

Twilight messed up big time, and as a result she is paying the price when vengeful ponies trap her and Spike in a situation where they are doomed to perish if help does not arrive on time.

Twilight has done everything in her power to show how much she loves me. It would have been easier if I felt the same way.

The scientists from Earth were able to open a portal to Equestria, which became an unprecedented event for both worlds. Mutual enrichment in culture, mentality, and knowledge occurred, as well as, of course, a work exchange program. Through it, one young agronomist who wished to start a new life found himself in the world of little ponies.

His stay in Equestria proved to be challenging but unforgettable, a path that eventually led him to Sweet Apple Acres… of course, for reasons of his agricultural specialty. However, at some point, something terrible happened, and happiness came to an end. Hordes of zombies suddenly poured out of the portal to his native world, starting to take over the land of ponies.

Princess Celestia declared a state of emergency, and all the residents of Ponyville were evacuated. However, leaving the apple farm was not an option, as a shortage of apples could lead to famine. Only two remained to defend the harvest from the undead – a human and a farm pony. Fortunately, local magic proved capable of making the plants protect themselves.

The battle of life against death begins!..

Spike unwittingly released Bill Cipher into Equestria and caused Weirdmageddon. But all was well when everything was sorted out in the end as it usually is; Twilight and her friends stopped the weird triangle creature and everything was back to normal. No negative consequences in the long term.

Right?

After receiving a 'Code Red' text from Rainbow Dash, Sunset Shimmer rushes to her friend's side... just to find out that the situation really isn't code red.

In the midst of another conflict with the Changeling Queen, fighting over the next macguffin with the potential to change the fate of the entire world, Twilight decides to propose a challenge of sort to Chrysalis.

Twilight believes that it is possible for Chrysalis to have a normal life, a good life, one where she doesn't have to worry about the hunger that have cost her so much, all without needing to change (to much) who she is.

Chrysalis is, understandably, skeptical about that, but nevertheless she take the challenge, even if it's just to prove how wrong Twilight is.

But... would it be that bad if Twilight is right? After all, a good life, a life without hunger, does sounds nice. But is that what Chrysalis truly wants? Would she be okay with just that? How much would she be willing to change for a good life? And at what point would she had changed so much that she has stopped being herself and has become someone completely different? Would she even be herself at that moment?

These are the questions that Chrysalis will have to face to obtain her answer.

Life is difficult when you're trying to find who your perfect match is. For an unlucky siren and pony, it is even harder to try and find your mate when your dreams constantly give you hints. Now these mortal enemies have to try and find their soulmate by matching the hints with people in their lives. Surely life wouldn't be ironic enough to make them perfect for each other, right?

Hello, everyone~ This story is my first attempt at a "soulmate AU" fic. Soulmates are a popular kind of story and this is the only concept I see as entertaining when it comes to soulmates. In this story, characters get hints for who their soulmate is through dreams. It is up to them to try and match those hints to the people in their lives. This isn't some easy red string of fate! There's work involved! Of course, this is Sundagio once again. This is also the third part of my celebration of October 15th, my anniversary of writing Sundagio! The first part is chapter 21 of A Dazzling Trio and the second part is a story titled Games and Treats. I have really loved these past two years of writing Sundagio content and I don't plan to stop now~ (Thanks to H_phone001 for helping me come up with this idea~)

As ruler, she reaches out to the griffon kingdom, in order to reforge international relationships. However, due to ponies' tendency to split up by race, the griffon king wants nothing to do with them. But Zipp can't give in.

There's also wardens watching her on both ends and somehow, the pegasus is the less reasonable of the two. And when she's been doing the same things for as long as she can remember...

It's four a.m. That's when the servant polishes the throne room.

Maybe Misty Brightdawn wouldn't be cleaning. But the unicorn mare still doesn't know who that is.

After Twilight shuts her out, Rarity tries to move on. She tries, and tries, and tries. It's hard, and her failures hurt, but her success hurts far more.

If you ever met Sunstone when he was but a young colt, you would’ve seen a large grin, two purple eyes full of determination, and an earth pony who could take on the world.

But something happened over the years. As Sunstone grew older, more and more did his cheerful smile morph into an ugly scowl. His enthusiastic attitude gradually capsized, leaving in its stead a disgruntled husk of his former self.

Shining Armor and Twilight Sparkle: Two gifted unicorns that would quickly undermine everything Sunstone has been hoping to achieve, unintentionally turning him into the underdog he never wished to be. Resentment overtaking his better judgement, feeling doomed to be living forever in the shadow of his immensely successful brother and sister, Sunstone has had a lifetime of feeling thoroughly unremarkable.

Unable to bear his inability to stand out amongst his younger siblings, Sunstone vowed to never see his family again. It’s been five years since he departed on a journey to finally understand his true place in Equestria.

Not once has he looked back at the life he left behind.

Practice could have gone better.

First, there were all the missed landings and failed flips. Then, Ocellus had forgotten the words to the cheers while the junior pony team showed out with perfect rhythm and volume. Oh, and there was the whole getting crushed and paralyzed thing.

Yeah, come to think of it, that was probably the worst part.

For a pony, such a thing might be devastating. For a dragon like Smolder? Still devastating, but Scales do these ponies love to drown their wounded in cards and balloons. And the way they talk to her, it's like they expect her just to lay around and cry all day or something.

Yeah, that ain't Smolder.

Thankfully, Gallus gets it at least. Smolder doesn't want to spend her days sitting around in bed, feeling sorry for herself. If she's going to be forced to sit on her butt for the rest of her life, she wants to at least do it out in the open—roll around the hallways, prank a few nurses, have a race or two despite doctors yelling at her not to, those good 'ol things. Those doctors may have their degrees in medicine, but she's a few months away from a degree in friendship, and friends and living don't come from just sitting around and being sad and stuff. They come from getting out there, meeting fellow injured souls, and bringing some smiles and joy into their lives. Who says a hospital has to be a place without smiles?

And what better way to bring smiles to every creature's face than a good old-fashioned wheelchair race? It certainly brings a smile to Gallus', and Smolder will take any excuse to hang out with her favorite griffon.

With the rest of Canterlot a blizzard away, help is not likely to show up any time soon. So not only will Octavia have to figure out who among the guests is a killer, she'll also need to confront past demons she wishes she'd left behind.

A long time ago in the magical land of Equestria, ponies changed the world. They put their lives on the line to bend the arc of history and mold the present and future of not only their country, but the entire world. They were ambassadors, princesses and princes, warriors and scholars. Everything they did, they did to preserve and propagate their way of life.

None of that matters now, though. Their stories are largely forgotten, their lessons nothing but dust on the winds of history. Their buildings still stand, mostly deserted ruins now. Other than that, their only legacies are the problems they left for the new age to deal with.

Sunny and her friends thought they had a pretty good grasp on those problems, and they were working day in and day out on ways to solve them. Then another one rears its ugly head: an ancient city emerges from the depths of time and unleashes an old horror upon ponykind once again.
