Registering

Due to various abusive circumstances, the chatroom now requires being registered in order to join. Your registration on the FiMFiction website does not count. Even though the chat can be found on the site, it is simply a webchat connecting to an IRC (Internet Relay Chat) chatroom. Your username and password are not recognized by the IRC chat, and stuff like spaces in usernames won't work.

In order to register your nickname on the IRC server, you'll need to use the following command:

To register a nick, type /ns register yourpassword youremail

For example: /ns register iloveponies ponylover@example.com
