Many moons ago, the famous Flim Flam Corporation took control of Equestria. Spike unwittingly released Bill Cipher into Equestria and caused Weirdmageddon. But all was well when everything was sorted out in the end as it usually is; Twilight and her friends stopped the weird triangle creature and everything was back to normal. No negative consequences in the long term.

After all of the time she has devoted to this project, all of those sleepless nights to ensure that everything was perfect, tonight was finally the night. The night this was all leading up to. The night that Twilight Sparkle's greatest creation rose, and returned what the scientist once lost.

It just had to work. Everything was right. However... something went wrong, and now, with shattered remains condemning her one and only desire, there was nothing she could do to fix it. Not anymore.

Deep in the Frozen North is where Sombra was born and raised, now following his dams footsteps of a monster hunter. he would be more than content with this being his life, even with Yesric barding away as he tagged along. however it off course doesn't stay like this, not now that the ponies are encroaching on their land. and even though the umbrum wanted to go around this peacefully, language barriers and them being a predator specie causes ponies to take a much more...violent path to gaining new land.

Guess whos back! and it only took me 6 months to figure out what to do with this monstrosity of a story, hoping it won't be as drawn out as the last one :D i might be adding characters and tags as i go, oh and the profanity is definitely there this time

This is a rewrite of my story Equestria Broken but in first person instead of third person. I didn't really like the way the story was being written so a good friend of mine suggested for me to try something new. I'm really liking how it's coming out so I decided to post it.

This is a grimdark MLP story in an alternate universe. King Sombra rules the land which is decimated by plague, starvation and a rebellion uprising. Clout, an introverted thief who lives his life in the shadows, is forced into circumstances he is going to have to learn how to navigate with the help of two ponies he calls stalkers.

But in a quest to a foreign land to save Tempest's life, Twilight will have to learn what motivates this maligned mare and how to truly befriend her. Because once she returns, that knowledge may be the only thing that can truly save her—and herself.

Reading the prequel to this story will provide context but is not necessary to enjoy this one.

The Empress of the Crystal Empire has gone to horrifying lengths to protect her home against monsters that may not exist.

Sonata has a rough and tragic backstory involving her biological parents, after their quick and sudden passing, she moved in with her non-biological sisters Adagio and Aria. Now, she's having some troubles sleeping at night due to the images she keeps seeing in her mind, problem is, she won't tell anybody what's going on or what she sees because it makes her uncomfortable. Will one of her sisters be able to give her some peace of mind so she's able to sleep soundly?

This story explains the way I view the relationship of The Dazzlings, while I do view them as sisters, I do not view them as biological siblings, rather instead, I view them as three people who have lived together for so long that they just refer to one another as sisters, but they aren't related at all. Hope that makes sense.

Though merely a shadow of his former self, Sombra sought to reclaim the Crystal Empire for himself. But thanks to the efforts of a certain purple dragon, and princess of love, he was thwarted and destroyed. However, years later, he was resurrected to join a vile legion of doom. He refused, and set off on his own. This time, however, after his conquest of the Empire was thwarted once again, King Sombra struck the ultimate blow to his enemies.

He destroyed the Tree of Harmony.

But when the ponies who represent the elements realized the magic of friendship was already inside them, they used that power to return Sombra to the Aether from whence he came. That was the final end of The Shadow King in the world of Equestria. But what of King Sombra from another world?

What if King Sombra existed in the world of Equestria Girls as a powerful, and evil monarch who rules his Kingdom with a fist of iron and shadow? How did this come to pass? 2 months after the infamous Mystable incident, Sunset has decided to temporarily leave the human world after the harsh treatment that she received from her former friends after being framed. After a while of pondering, our fireheaded girl finally decided that it's time to head back and hopefully try to move past it and to give her friends another chance. But once she arrives back to CHS, she is met with the most heartbreaking news.........................................one of the Rainbooms killed themselves. With the funeral to commence at the end of the week, Sunset wonders if she's ready to forgive the remaining Rainbooms and the CMC's out of fear of one of them following suit later on.

Cozy tells the untold tale of her time growing up at Sunrise orphanage. Where her intelligence makes her an outcast until she befriends another filly named Aurora who starts to idolize her. Cozy and Aurora Grow up practicing chess with each other and this leads to Cozy realizing she has real passion for the game. This is until disaster strikes which puts Cozy on a dark path.

Manipulation. That was the thing Cozy Glow knew all too well. It's what she attempted to use to become the Empress of Friendship. Right now, she's out on parol, with her wings still stuck as stone until the pegasus filly learns true friendship. She thought she had found that friendship, when she came across a mysterious shapeshifting blog creature named Gorzon.

Boy was she ever wrong.

That being said, I am trusting you guys to not basically spam downvote JUST because of the tags. Because if I see a massive downvote on this story when it's being made as part of a contest, then this is the last time I'm trusting you guys with anything.

The former in this case being "Cozy Glow vs. Gorzon". Yes, that same shapeshifting evil blob from many of my other stories. However, full disclosure: While Gorzon is indeed basically Cozy Glow turned up to eleven, I had created him waaaaaaaaaaay back when; just after Super Mario Galaxy 1 had hit the states. At that point, I'm not even sure if MLP:FiM even existed and even if it did, Cozy Glow certainly didn't exist at that point.

But considering that Gorzon is Cozy Glow turned up to eleven...this contest was the perfect chance to really show just how evil Gorzon is and give Cozy Glow some much needed redemption.
