This story is a sequel to Tales of the Battle Foals

After their battle with Snowdrop, Fire Fight and his friends thought they could finally relax and live in peace, as now Equestria accepts them. But following an attack and the killing of a gang by the hoofs of another foal, the Battle Foals are thrust back into the darkness that lays under Equestria as they discover a seductive plot to take over the world using them and other foals with even worse backgrounds.

However, will Equestria actually accept the new foals, as some aren't even living or will their own fears and doubts doom them?

When the Chimera Alliance of Heathmoor first learned of a prosperous land called Equestria to far northwest, across the northern mountains of Valkenheim, it was decided that the Gryphon, Holden Cross, should lead an expedition to this strange realm. Upon arrival, they soon learn of a dire threat to the land. The evil, traitorous Prince Blueblood has seized the throne, and has become a tyrant over the common people. His Sheriff, Gladmane, enforces the Prince's rule with an iron hoof, and those that resist them often "disappear". The true rulers of Equestria, the Great Queens Celestia and Luna, vanished beforehand.

The Merry Mares, a group of outlaws dedicated to helping the poor, led by the courageous Robin Jack, are among the few that openly defy the Prince's reign. Standing beside them are a group of Knights from the capital of Canterlot, led by the noble Sir Spike.

WIth this in mind, the Gryphon sends three of his best spies into the capital city of Canterlot to rescue Princess Cadance and her husband, Prince Shining Armor. They have been imprisoned by Blueblood's command, and the Alliance intends to free them and begin the long struggle to free Equestria from tyranny.

Rainbow Dash was rejected from the Wonderbolts, she then decides to chase after a new dream, where she wishes to be more popular than the Wonderbolts and make a ton of bits (money), a dream where she sells illegal soda. She loves soda and is very upset that it was banned. One day, she hopes to be soo famous that the wonderbolts would be jealous or try to convince her to join their ranks. Sp, She invites her friends to join her illegal soda shop, can they avoid the risk of being caught?

Unicorns Twilight Sparkle and Sunset Shimmer are the star students of Princess Celestia but the almighty Princess has other plans in mind. She sends the two dragon companions, Spike and Drake to Ponyville, to oversee the Summer Sun Celebration but instead, the two will have adventures of a lifetime.

At 8:35 AM, Canterlot burns.

However, messing around with dark magic that nopony understands could lead to effects that weren't the desired result...

Applejack takes a bounty in Dodge to bring back an outlaw alive, but some-pony else apparently wants that same bounty dead, and doesn’t care who gets in their way.
